Eurofins MWG Operon’s siMAX^™ Design is based on published data including Reynolds et al., Nature Biotechnology. The siRNA candidates are ranked based on 12 decisive criteria including GC content or the critical position specific occurrence of nucleotide bases in the siRNA search motif. These default criteria can be adjusted in the initial screen if necessary.
